Overview
Upon completion of his formal studies
at Schuler School of Fine Arts in Maryland, and attaining national
success with his Trompe L'Oeil oil paintings, Anthony J. Waichulis
returned to his hometown and founded The Waichulis Studio. The
Waichulis Studio, a fine art apprenticeship program for promising
students, began inspiring and training artists in 1997.
Today, students of The Waichulis
Studio are very well received by the local community which hosts
their annual exhibit, "Capturing Realism." Additionally, many
graduates are recipients of prestigious awards, published
nationally, represented by well respected galleries, and assist in
the instruction of new apprentices.
The Waichulis Studio continues to
grow in reputation and expectation. More information on the
outstanding art instruction provided by The Waichulis Studio can be
found on the instruction
page. The resume of the instructor and founder, Anthony J.
Waichulis, can be found below. |

Anthony Waichulis - (b. 1972) hails from rural Pennsylvania
and has established a national reputation for his trompe l'oeil
paintings. The brilliant dimensionality he achieves is suggestive
of and as effective as Peto and Harnett, but he goes measures
beyond in terms of the finiteness of his imagery....
